Our roadmap​

KEY academy’s long-term vision is rooted in a three-phase roadmap designed to bring transformative, world-class education to all 36 states of Nigeria. This strategic plan guides our growth from our model school in Lagos to a national movement that redefines how children learn across the length and breadth of the country. 

 

Each phase of our journey is carefully crafted to ensure we maintain a balance of innovation, quality, and scalability, creating a world-class educational model that is global in its outlook while still leveraging ancient local insights and practices:

Phase 1 - We developed and launched our model school, KEY academy, in 2019 in order to illustrate exactly what project-based, 21st-century learning looks like in practice. We will continue to build out our learning groups each year, as we grow to become a full-service primary and secondary school, offering a world-class education in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria, right up until the age of 18

 

Phase 2 - Our edtech platform codifies KEY academy's learning methodologies, teacher training, and processes into an operating system for schools across Nigeria. This is crucial, as without transforming the hundreds of thousands of existing schools in the country, the next generation will be left behind in an AI-dominated world, and the cycle of poverty and corruption will continue.

 

Phase 3 - The ultimate goal is to work with Nigerian policymakers to reshape how primary and secondary education is developed, assessed, and delivered, positively impacting millions of children for generations to come.
